The real trick was gaining access to QIF datafiles stranded on Quicken versions older than 5 years. I believe there is some discussion in this thread about going back and forth between Quicken Essentials and Quicken 2007, which should be using the same or compatible datafile format. ![]() Apparently the newer version (perhaps including the once linked above) only do Quicken 2005 and newer. The trick is that you need to use the Quicken Data File convertor that comes with Quicken Essential. ![]() ![]() This is the thread I came across which suggests you can convert older Quicken datafiles (2002?) to Quicken Essentials format.
